Check out this list of 100 must read books for men…and any ladies out there who want to learn about life.
Here’s our Top 5:
5. Animal Farm – Required reading back in like 8th grade, but a classic tale of politics, sociology, and class warfare. Lesson learned: some people are more equal than others.
4. The Prince – Ok, so I only read this because Tupac changed his name to Mackavelli, but this book raised the eternal question–is it better to be loved or feared? Lesson learned: it’s better to be feared.
3. The Autobiography of Malcolm X – A great modern tale of redemption and personal transformation. His tumultuous journey led him out of prison to become one of the most influential figures of the 20th century. Lesson learned: people can change.
2. The Art of War – Read by every leader since 500BC. That’s reason enough to give it a shot. Lesson learned: smash ants with a sledge hammer (figuratively speaking).
1. The Bible – The most popular book in history, full of epic tales of heroism, deceit, sex, redemption, murder, war, enlightenment, prophecy, and life lessons that are as valid today as gravity. Lesson learned: love thy neighbor as thyself.
